Times Microwave Systems has MSHA (Mining, Safety and Health Administration) approval for the LMR®-FR series cables. The LMR®-FR cables are all marked with the MSHA qualification reference number and thus can be used in mining applications where MSHA approvals are required.

In addition to MSHA approval, the cables also bear the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection “P” approval marking. This “P” marking is a requirement for any cables that will be installed in mines in the state of Pennsylvania.

The added cable marking reflecting both of these approvals is “P-07-KA070010-MSHA” and appears on all LMR®-FR cables.
